It’s true FATHOM is rocking dtla this summer. It kick’s off with the legendary rock shooter Richard E. Aaron. It's our first solo show for a photographer and we couldn’t be more pleased to present the life’s work of this total pro and true artist.
Best known for his music photography, Richard E. Arron has shot over 4,000 musical artists. He has produced still photography for a wide variety of media including feature films, television and corporate video. He was honored by Modern Photography Magazine as one of the “10 Best Rock Photographers.”
Aaron photographed the first rock ‘n’ roll cover for Time Magazine: on it, Paul McCartney. His work has appeared in over 45,000 magazines, newspapers and books worldwide. His work in music photography includes traveling throughout China for several months to document the first Western rock band to tour and record an album there.
Originally from New York, he has been based in Los Angeles since 1980. Aaron is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Brooks Institute where he would later receive an Honorary Master’s degree in 2008.
